New (old) obsession

It’s been way too long since I have posted here. I thought I’d start up again with an image of my new obsession-paper planners! Back in high school and college, I heavily relied on my paper planners, but then the age of technology was upon us and in 2001 I purchased a Palm Pilot and never looked back at those old calendars. I have since upgraded to an iPhone, but recently the paper lover in me has decided to go back to analog! I am currently using a downloadable planner but am chomping at the bit to order an Inkwell Press Planner, which does not go on sale until next month. I wanted to check out some planner stickers though, so I ordered a few from The Reset Girl and she does not disappoint! I love them & can’t wait to get my new planner so I can start using them (and who are we kidding, I’m sure I’ll order more then too!)

Here’s a shot of my new toys! Enjoy!

Rainy Saturday

It’s a cold and rainy day here in Seattle today. Instead of doing real work (my taxes, finishing unpacking boxes, organizing my office) I grabbed my camera and got a few shots from the dry comfort of my home sweet home. Enjoy what I saw today!

What I’m up to this summer…

I’ll be busy at several art fairs this summer, here is the list of where you can find me:

2013 Art Fair Appearances postcard

Ahhh, Fall!

I love Fall, it is my absolute favorite season and here in Seattle this year we have been spoiled beyond belief by amazing weather sticking around well into October! I was recently driving home and passed this park by my house, I had to jump out and snap a few shots.

Enjoy!

Family Fun On The Beach

This growing family of three (soon to be four) and I had a great time on a recent sunny Saturday afternoon. We had not discussed clothing choices before hand, but when I arrived and saw them in their matching blue and white outfits and the beautiful cloudless blue sky, I knew we were going to get some striking images.

Enjoy our day at the beach!

Blue Angels in Seattle

Now that summer is “officially” over (although in Seattle we are still in the midst of some record breaking weather – so far 44 days in a row of no measurable rain) I wanted to post some shots from a few weeks ago when Seattle was celebrating it’s annual summer tradition of Sea-Fair . My brother and his wife are lucky enough to have a beautiful house that overlooks Lake Washington so they invited friends and family over to enjoy some yummy BBQ and watch the Blue Angels. I remember walking down to the lake as a child to watch this annual (well – mostly) event and getting to share some special “police officer” grapes with one of Seattle’s finest. (With my mother’s approval – otherwise the rule was never to take food from a stranger!). I’m so excited that my 2 year old nephew will have these memories of parties on the deck and the amazing stunts of the Blue Angels to think back on when he is grown.

Enjoy what I saw when the Blue Angels came to town!

Lunch break

I’m at a photography lecture by Rick Sammon, sponsored by Canon & Glazer’s today. On our lunch break I snapped a few shots with my iPhone.

Enjoy!
